Prayer of Saint Benedict
January 14, 2009

In our team meeting today we prayed together this prayer of Saint Beneidct, which I had found at Westminster Abbey yesterday, at the area where you can light a candle as a symbol of your prayers to God.

O gracious and holy Father,

diligence to seek you,
patience to wait for you,
eyes to behold you,
a heart to meditate on you,
and a life to proclaim you,
through the power of the Spirit of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
