London Journal – Tuesday, March 17, 2009

Today, morning and afternoon, I spent in office work. I will spare you the details.

We did take our usual heart-health walk to Roundwood Park. From the top of the hill you have a clear view of Wembly Stadium.

Adjoining the park on two sides are cemeteries. Parts of them are well maintained; other parts are a bit neglected.

Here is a bright clump of daffodils in one of the cemeteries.

Daffodils, flowering trees, forsythia and a few other things are in full bloom throughout London.

This evening we met with a group that is learning how to speak effectively to the issues that our distant cousins raise in regard to their religion and Christianity. Carmen led the meeting.

Specifically, our distant cousins have said they want to have a series of debates with our best proponents of the Christian faith. These proposed debates will be held in universities and churches over the next year or so, with the first debate likely to be held this fall.
