London Journal – Thursday, March 19, 2009

Today was a long, full day.

I started with office work. Then Elias Moyo came to have tea and conversation at the New Atlas Cafe (a Greek restaurant) one block from our hotel. You may recall that Elias is originally from Zimbabwe, has been here in UK for 29 years as a church planter, and has also started a small theological college to train pastors and church leaders.

He talked with passion about the need for more church planting in UK. “Britain is a key nation. Yes, send missionaries to other places, but send more here, too.” He mentioned several challenges he is facing. We prayed together.

Then, back to the hotel for a Skype conference call to the Administrative Cabinet in Grantham, PA.

Then off to Judy Smith’s home for supper, conversation, administrative issues and prayer.

Back at the hotel, more office work completed the day.
